Sunset Years

The sunset’s glow cast o’er the sky, radiant orange-red
Filled with awe and splendor, is not for us to dread.
It is the crowning episode, the icing on the cake.
It’s time for taking one last turn, one more memory make.
And the brilliant ball of fire still hanging on the edge,
A promise of the world unseen and wonders yet ahead.
